Branagan’s
Bulletin
Week of January 7 – January 11, 2019
Hello Sachems!
It is good to get back to school!
I have missed our routines that school brings, and it is great to be
back to learning. We are approaching the
final weeks of Semester I, and we have a great deal to accomplish in order for
each of you to FinishSTRONG! Remember
the goals that you set at the beginning of the year for yourself and there is
still time to complete that goal. I
expect excellence out of each of you…and everyone at MHS is behind you with
this expectation. I want each of you to
work hard this week in all of your classes as we begin the final push to the
end of the semester. I know you can do
it! We have a very busy week ahead…so,
here we go…
- Sachem Shout-Out:
- To the winter
athletes for their commitment to our school and team as they endured the
cold practices, meets, games and tournaments! You are doing great, Sachems!
- A Special note
of congratulations to the Wrestling Team for their outstanding win
against Rockland. This was a first
league win for the team in many years.
Well done, Sachems!
- Congratulations to
Nicki Hart and Declan Hastings for their outstanding placements in their
respective Diving Competition last week.
We love when records get broken.
Great work!
- Congratulations
to Dylan Tobiaz for being named a NATIONAL WINNER of the Horatio Alger
Scholarship. A HUGE accomplished
and so well-deserved. Dylan will
head to Washington D.C. for a very formal ceremony where he will receive his
scholarship.
- Best of luck to
Owen Kidd who will represent MHS at the Senior District Festival at Canton
High School on Saturday. He will
truly make our school proud!
